Implementation of recommendation • After we’ve discussed the recommended solution we’ll send it to you in writing. • When you are in a position to proceed, we manage the process of submitting your application with the relevant mortgage lender. • However, if you haven’t yet secured your property we can obtain a ‘Mortgage In Principle’ which should help you with your property purchase and then return to the application when required. 5 Protection • We organise a separate protection meeting with you, typically two weeks after of our initial mortgage consultation. • We purposely separate this out to allow us to focus on your mortgage at the first meeting whilst giving you some time to reflect on the scale of your financial commitments and your needs for protection. • We find out about you and your circumstances so we can get to the heart of your protection needs and provide advice tailored to you. • We consider the whole of the insurance market when we’re searching for the most appropriate products. • We present our recommendations and guide you through the application process, keeping you informed every step of the way. 6
