When it comes to padlocks and security ratings, CEN have come together to provide a standardised approach for categorising and comparing padlocks across different manufacturers. There are a total of 6 levels to the CEN rating for padlocks from 1 to 6. The criteria for each CEN assessment level is taken from the EN 12320 security criteria as shown in the table above.
