CAREER PURSUIT

Please note that each of the Families Federations has a slightly different remit; the NFF and RAF FF also provide support to single regular and reserve service personnel. For more information: Naval Families Federation: https://nff.org.uk (Magazine – Homeport) Army Families Federation: https://aff.org.uk (Magazine – Army & You) RAF Families Federation: https://www.raf-ff.org.uk (Magazine – Envoy) The Naval, Army and RAF Families Federations are separate organisations and act as independent voices for you as military families. We continually work hard to improve the quality of life for families around the world, focusing on the unique challenges that are experienced whilst living a military lifestyle. All three Families Federations are independent to their single service and offer confidential advice and guidance as well as often being pivotal in achieving improvements for military families, such as changes to government policy. Our role is to highlight emerging problems and themes to the chain of command or service providers, and to work with them and other agencies to improve the support they provide to service communities. We also provide a signposting service as well as providing useful information for each of our communities through our own websites, e- newsletters and magazines. Some of the main areas we deal with include housing, health and additional needs, education and childcare, employment and training, foreign and commonwealth, deployments, money and allowances and family life.
