Anti-Slavery and Anti-Trafficking Modern slavery encompasses slavery, forced and compulsory labour, and human trafficking whereby individuals are deprived of their freedom and are exploited for commercial or personal gain as enacted in the Modern Slavery Act 2015 (‘the Act’). We are committed to a zero-tolerance approach to modern slavery and to acting with integrity in all its dealings and relationships. This policy applies to all employees, consultants, and other persons doing business with the Centre. Any breaches of this policy may result in the Centre taking disciplinary action against individual(s) and/or terminating its relationship with any organisation or supplier; and reporting appropriately. Appeals Procedure What Is An Appeals Process? If you are dissatisfied with your assessment decision, service provided or training received; you have the right to appeal, have the appeal investigated, and be given a full and prompt reply. If you are dissatisfied with the service provided or training received; you have the right to complain, have the complaint investigated, and be given a full and prompt reply. Anti-Bullying and Harassment We regard all forms of bullying, harassment and offensive behaviour against another individual as a serious issue which will not be accepted or tolerated. We have a responsibility to ensure we do not condone, incite or perpetrate any form of bullying or harassment in order to establish and maintain a working environment free from bullying and harassment. Suspected bullying and/or harassment at any point in a programme will be investigated and dealt with appropriately. This may include disciplinary action against any individual involved which could result in either failure of the programme, or exclusion from the Centre and/or the relevant training programme. How Do I Appeal? First you can appeal to your Assessor. If you are still not satisfied you can appeal to your Internal Quality Assurer. The third stage of the appeals process is with an independent panel of representatives from the Awarding Organisation and would require you to speak to the panel. If you have any concerns or wish to appeal, please contact the Centre. How Do I Complain? First you can complain to a member of staff. If you are still not satisfied, your complaint can be passed on and dealt with by the management team.
