The camp programme makes use of Les Crosets’ exceptional location, perched high up in the mountains overlooking the beautiful Rhône Valley, giving guests the opportunity to fully explore the local Alpine region and its hidden cultural treasures. A series of popular excursions include: Glacier 3000 at Les Diablerets (husky dog sledding, the Tissot walk, the Alpine rollercoaster), the famous Château de Chillon, the Caillers / Nestlé chocolate factory, a day in Gruyères (Château de Gruyères, Maison de Gruyères cheesemaking tour and demonstration, visit to the medieval town), the Montreux Jazz Festival (first two weeks of July only), the International Olympic Museum in Lausanne, and Geneva, the home of the United Nations, the Red Cross and Amnesty International. Other excursions include Aquaparc at Le Bouveret, banana boating and paddle boarding on Lake Geneva, Parc Aventure high ropes, outdoor thermal spas, adventure labyrinth with giant maze, days at the beach as well as overnight camps in mountain refuges including the natural heritage site lac du Taney.
