Academically and vocationally, the curriculum provision has rigour, integrity and respect, offering those courses which are recognised and valued by Further Education, future employers and the wide ranging world of business. Our Sixth Form provision recognises the competitive world in which our young people are operating and the curriculum provision is enhanced by programmes specifically designed to develop the wholeness of the individual, broaden the experiences, skills and personal qualities of our students and ensure that each Sixth Former can compete successfully alongside their peers in their chosen pathway. We believe in living and working together in a way that enables all of us to be happy, safe and to achieve the highest possible standards in our work. Teachers recognise achievements by awarding Reward Points, certificates for work, positive contribution or effort within our community. The Reward Points accumulate and generate further Achievement Certificates that are shared with our students in assemblies, as well as rewards such as celebration breakfasts, lunches or film afternoons. At Christ the King College, we promote positive, caring and responsible behaviour which is encouraged, valued and recognised through our Reward System and Behaviour for Learning Policy.
