Donations from both enable us to make the biggest possible impact in our communities, for the long term. They support the research that underpins our giving, helping us to focus on where the greatest needs in our county are and enabling us to promote philanthropy. CORPORATE MEMBERSHIP Businesses of any size can become a corporate member. We welcome not only those with Cumbrian roots but national and global companies working in our county. Two options are available – Standard and Challenge. Challenge members donate a higher annual fee and receive access to an exclusive event during the year. Carlisle-based accountancy firm Armstrong Watson has been a corporate member since 2003. Paul Dickson, CEO and Managing Partner, explained why: “Armstrong Watson has proudly supported Cumbria Community Foundation for many years, recognising the vital role it plays in strengthening our communities. Through its tireless work, the Foundation helps local people overcome adversity, unlock opportunity and thrive. We are honoured to stand alongside them in their mission to make a lasting difference across Cumbria.” CUMBRIA CLUB This is our membership scheme for individuals and families and is open to everyone, whether you live in or outside of the county. All share a love for Cumbria and find membership provides a great way to support its people and communities. To find out more about membership, email enquiries@cumbriafoundation.org. Paul Dickson of Armstrong Watson Our 25th anniversary dinner in March 2025 In-kind support Thank you to all the businesses and individuals who have provided the Foundation with in-kind support over the past year. From providing meeting rooms and venues free of charge, to sponsoring our events and publications, pro bono support of this kind makes a huge difference, enabling us to focus on funding vital projects across Cumbria.
