Commit to the community with corporate membership As well as our fund holders, the Foundation has a committed group of supporters who subscribe to our membership schemes on an annual basis. Businesses, families and individuals from across the county and the country, coming together to support our work. Lots of companies based in or operating from Cumbria choose to be corporate members of the Foundation. We are proud to say we currently have 130 businesses, large and small, choosing corporate membership, with some demonstrating further commitment through adopting our highest tier of membership as challenge members. All membership fees help give stability to the Foundation’s activities. Corporate membership offers businesses across the county the chance to demonstrate their social responsibility and impact by helping us to transform lives in the local community. By becoming a corporate member, businesses join the Foundation family, with invitations to events and a listing in our Annual Review and on our website, as well as the opportunity to display our logo on their website and literature to promote their support. Some of our members have chosen to participate in further fundraising activities to support our appeals such as the Winter Warmth Fund or to name us as their charity of the year. Others have generously sponsored specific events and activities to help us garner further donations and support. We are extremely grateful to all our existing members. One of our longest standing is RBC Brewin Dolphin, who have kindly sponsored our Annual Review for many years. RBC Brewin Dolphin are delighted to support Cumbria Community Foundation in the very valuable work it does. This is another year when many in our community are in need of help and support and the work of the Foundation has never been more needed. RBC Brewin Dolphin is committed to supporting our local community and pleased to be working with Cumbria Community Foundation and wish them continued success. - Andrew Eze, Head of Office at RBC Brewin Dolphin’s Penrith Office Andrew Eze Trans fo rmi ng L i ves 26 For more information on becoming a corporate – or individual – member, or how your business can support the Foundation further, please contact caroline@cumbriafoundation.org
