The other key difference between devices is some provide a one-off instant blast, great for punctuating a specific moment with a quick coverage. Other machines provide a longer duration, but it takes a little more time for the air to be filled. An alternative to confetti is streamers which are far easier to clear up. We have a wide range of flame products to meet your requirements. We don’t hire flames to everyone, we will need to check your experience and insurance cover. Any product using CO₂ will require a separate gas cylinder which will need to be sourced locally and are expensive and heavy. Advantages of CO₂ are that the gas evaporates quickly so there is no lingering smoke. The performance of CO₂ products is affected by the humidity and temperature, the dryer and warmer it is the quicker the effect disappears. Smoke based products are a great option if there is to be a lot of repetitive firing so you save on consumable costs, or if you’re on tour it saves the headache of having to source CO2 at each venue.

TRANSPORT 5 All our products are dispatched in custom flight-cases or Peli cases to ensure they arrive to you in perfect condition. We have a range of options available to you: 1. COLLECTION FROM AL10 9BB There are many advantages to collecting if you’re nearby or maybe travelling en-route to an event in London. - Its free so you’re saving money - We get to meet you and say hi! We can also offer you any quick training or provide advice if you need it. If you want to demo a different / new product then we’re on hand - If you need any flammable or pressurised consumables such as IPA, Propane or CO₂ which can’t be delivered on a network courier we can facilitate that for you as well - You can arrange a specific time 2. NETWORK COURIER SERVICE We can arrange the delivery and collection for you and add the cost to your bill (we don’t mark it up) or if you prefer you can make the booking yourself. Products can be collected between 09:00 and 17:00 Mon-Fri from AL10 9BB. Most services are next day, and you can pay a premium for delivery before specific times such at 09:00 or 12:00, although as this service is outsourced we cannot guarantee delivery times.
DELIVERY OR COLLECTION 3. PALLET DELIVERY If you’re able to accept a pallet then this is a great option for larger orders as we can combine multiple products into one shipment. Even for smaller orders it can be more cost effective and we find the pallet network more reliable than the couriers if you have a tight deadline. 4. ENT FX DELIVERY & INSTALLATION We can provide a dedicated delivery service direct to your venue, which can also include an installation service if required. Its also possible for us to deliver pressurised or flammable consumables which we are insured to transport. This is a good option if you need a specific delivery time. 5. DEDICATED COURIER If we don’t have the availability to complete the delivery ourselves we have an incredibly reliable specialist courier who can often collect within the hour to help get you out of a tricky situation or last minute change of plan. We’ve all been there!
ORDER PROCESS 5 From initial enquiry, through to confirmation, invoicing delivery, technical support, return and aftercare our team are on hand throughout to assist you. If you were to hire with us then the process would be as follows: MAKE ENQUIRY Via E-Mail, Phone, On-line chat, or book a ZOOM if you want more advice COMPATIBILITY CHECK We may need to ask a few questions to check that we’re happy to hire you the device, and ensure it’s the most suitable for your needs QUOTE We use an on-line stock management system called CURRENT. We’ll send you a quote detailing all the products you’ve requested ACCEPT You can simply click on the quote to confirm the booking and agree to our Terms & Conditions INVOICE All new customers will have to pay in full prior to the goods being despatch. We do extend 30-day payment terms, upon request. INSURANCE Once you’ve received the goods they are your responsibility & we recommend you have insurance to cover repair.
EVENT PREPARATION CHECKED IN All products are checked and tested when they arrive at our warehouse to ensure they are stored in good working condition PRE-DESPATCH TESTING All products are checked again prior to despatch to ensure they are in full working order SHIPMENT Where possible we will add in additional days to the hire at no extra charge to cover any potential delivery delays by our couriers ORDER RECEIPT Check for any damages and report them immediately. Please take pictures and send them to us promptly ORDER RETURN Please empty all the consumables prior to return, they should be returned in the same condition you received them. Our core value is to have safety and quality at the forefront of all our decision making in order to deliver the highest standard of SFX to our clients. TO aid this process we’ve developed a 7 Point QUALITY CHARTER using the acronym ‘WE CREATE’ – World Class SFX CHECKED BACK IN We will inspect the equipment and if we find any issues or damages we will inform you and you could be charged for repairs
DISCOUNTED RATES 5 All hire prices are based on a standard period of one week including transit time. Discounted rates are provided for short hires and longer periods. Hires of 2-4 weeks will attract a 5% discount with hires in excess of 4 weeks a 10% discount. A 25% discount will be applied to any 3 day rental (including Fri PM to Mon AM). This offer is only available to clients collecting and returning direct to our warehouse. An example of this discount is illustrated below: We will also consider further reductions for regular clients.
ATTENTION Entertainment Effects will not be held responsible for any incorrect usage, wrong placement or any accidents while using our equipment. The client is responsible to take the necessary precaution when using the equipment and should always read the user manual beforehand.
