SPREADING THE WORD THE LAUNCH CONVERSATIONS WIDER COMMUNITY ENGAGEMENT COMMUNITY PARTICIPATION SESSIONS LAUNCH FRIDAY 13TH SEPTEMBER 2019 KENDAL TOWN HALL The community planning process commenced with a launch at Kendal Town Hall. Key stakeholders and partners from across the town were invited to join Kendal Futures in setting out their plans for the Vision and their plans to involve the community. The event put the audience at the centre of the Vision, inviting their involvement and encouraging them to engage with their work colleagues and friends in promoting and contributing to the process. The enabling team set out the agenda for the overall process, along with the public participation sessions to be held on October 3rd to 5th at the Shakespeare Centre. Given that not everyone would be able to attend the public sessions, the team established how contributions could be made in all medias and at a series of planned and one-off meetings.
