The Lancaster Environment Centre (LEC) is where environmental businesses can thrive working alongside world class environmental researchers, high achieving students, government scientists and fellow enterprises to address today’s biggest environmental and societal challenges. The LEC building has three di ff erent cafes to choose from, each only a fi ve- minute walk away and all o ff ering fresh co ff ee, pastries as well as delicious options for lunch. The Spine (main walkway through campus) is fi tted with sheltering roofs, meaning even the Lancashire weather won’t deter you or your colleagues from collecting your morning pick-me up. LEC provides ample meeting and workshop spaces, such as training rooms fi tted with sliding partitions o ff ering adaptability from a meeting room space to an event space.
