Mark Minshull McMemories

ALISTAIR MACROW Mark, Throughout the time I have had the pleasure to know and work with you there has never been a moment when you’ve demonstrated anything other than what a great partner is. Our problems have always been taken on as your challenges, your problems have never been mentioned. The way you’ve led the Linney’s business to always consider what more you can do to add value to McDonald’s has always set you apart. Your approach of treating people the right way, being honest, open and approachable, always positive and always considerate hasn’t just helped me but its rubbed off on every other Linney’s person that I have met. Your personal commitment to getting involved, keeping a smile on your face and see the funny side has always been appreciated. I remember a round of golf for RMHC when your back would barely let you walk let alone hit a golf ball and yet there was no way you were going to give up, no way that anyone was going to be let down. It summed you up, just as the way that you were always there at AGMs, in the vicinity if not the foreground of a Bucking Bronco, helping made the fun stuff happen, ensuring that everyone was having a good time. You’re one of the best friends our business could wish for, one of the best partners I have had the pleasure of working with. Thank you for everything you have done for McDonald’s and for me personally (things like coming to my part of the world for dinner to save me another night away from home really make a difference). Enjoy your retirement, you have truly earned it. All the very best and please don’t lose touch. Alistair
