From scaling the largest inflatable Aquapark in the North of England, to raft building and Escape/Puzzle Rooms – there’s plenty to suit all needs on both land and water! We take young people away from their everyday life and welcome them into our world, giving them experiences they won’t get from home or inside the classroom. We create bespoke activity days that are guaranteed to get your students firing on all cylinders. This is your day, and we will tailor each aspect to suit the specific needs of your students. This includes everything from the activities that your students can enjoy to the food that will refuel them! Whatever activities you decide to take on, one of our qualified team members will welcome you and be with you and your students every step of the way to ensure we maximize every memorable moment. Our five lakes were formed as part of the environmental restoration of old gravel quarries. The land had previously been used as a WW1 airfield and farmland going even further back. We embrace the history and geology of our park land, bringing it to the forefront where we can, with various information boards dotted around the walking trails. The scenic trails around the lakes also offer multiple viewing areas, benches and modern artwork to enjoy. The park is home to an abundance of wildlife including many species of dragonfies and damselfies along with a large variety of different species of birds. We have a series of fishing lakes, that are not only well stocked with a large variety of fish but are also a perfect setting for a relaxing stroll or to explore wildlife. This is the perfect activity for creating memories and fostering teamwork in an unexpected and exciting way! Strengthen bonds, communication, and focus as you channel your inner Robin Hood to hit a series of targets! This activity is perfect for breeding unity that will pay dividends in the classroom – not to mention, lots of fun! Be at one with nature and unite, learn, and conquer team challenges in the great outdoors as you take on various bushcraft activities such as fire making and shelter building. A dynamic activity that will enhance teamwork and communication as you come together to successfully navigate through various obstacles. It’s a great activity for building stronger relationships and honing skills that can be taken back into the learning environment. Put your determination, grit and problemsolving skills to the test as you take on a variety of routes across the 12-metre-high climbing wall. This is a great activity for allowing team members to challenge their ability at their own pace, with easy, intermediate and hard ascents to choose from. Work together to solve as many puzzles as you can in 45 minutes and light up the Code Reader Input System (C.R.I.S.) to become the Puzzle Room champions. The two identical puzzle rooms allow larger groups to go head-to-head, with teams working together to complete the tasks in the fastest time. Join forces to uncover the clues and crack the code in an attempt to work your way to freedom before the time runs out. This activity will really put you to the test and showcase how others react when faced with pressure. The key here is to work out everyone’s strengths and utilise them effectively to maximise your chances of success. There’s no ‘I’ in team or in ‘Tug of War’. This activity will see teams engage in a friendly battle of strength and determination, accompanied by cheers and encouragement from peers. Whatever the result, this activity will lead to laughter and excitement, making it a memorable team-building activity that promotes togetherness and bonding. Our two Aquaparks, ‘Wipeout’ and ‘Warrior’, each o er a di erent test with slides, swings, stepping stones, jumps and trampolines. Beginners can learn to wakeboard with our qualified instructors while more experienced guests can practice their jumps and tricks on the kickers, pipes and inclines. A great activity offering adrenaline and adventure. Our quali ed instructors will teach your team the basics of windsur ng. Starting with launching, standing and turning to being able to harness the power of the wind to their best ability. Come together to enjoy a group paddle across the lake or split into teams and go head-tohead in a series of challenges. These ‘sit on top’ kayaks are designed to allow groups to experience the thrill of the water with a very low risk of falling in – a great combination for groups of mixed con dence and ability. Unleash your team’s creativity, communication and collaboration as you work together to construct sturdy rafts using limited materials. Navigate the open waters, overcome obstacles, and strengthen bonds in a fun and engaging way – the perfect activity for a unique blend of laughter, learning and leadership development! This is the perfect activity for honing communication and listening skills as teams work closely with our quali ed instructors to gain wind awareness and the knowledge of the different points of sail. This is a great way of nding out how individuals adapt to di erent situations and think on their feet. MEETING ROOM Our lakeside café is the perfect place to refuel ready for any adventure. Using locally sourced ingredients, we serve a wide range of hot and cold food and drinks throughout the day, meaning there’s something to suit all needs and dietary requirements. We can also offer a wide selection of catering options, from bu ets to burgers, platters and pizzas, there’s something to keep the whole group happy. In and around the cafe you will find lots of indoor and outdoor seating, so no matter if it’s just a quick refreshment stop or a full packed lunch we can offer a space for your group to take a well-earned break. CATERING & HOSPITALITY The 251 Squadron meeting room can also be reserved for groups of up to 40 people. This space has a perfect view of the main sports lake and is fully equipped with Audio Visual equipment, TV screens and high-speed Wi-fi connections.
