Alongside our very successful performance sports programme, we also have a range of sports teams that compete in the Association of Colleges Yorkshire and Humber League, as well as regional and national championships. Being part of TEAM ND will enhance your experience at Notre Dame and provide you with outstanding opportunities both during and after your time at college. The sporting season culminates with an extravagant sports awards ceremony to celebrate the successes of the year and say goodbye to our upper sixth students. Performance Sports • Football • Basketball • Netball Our performance sports teams require a high level of fitness and ability. You will have the opportunity to play competitively and receive professional coaching whilst completing your studies. Matches take place in the higher divisions of the Association of Colleges Yorkshire and Humber League. All performance sports teams are led by highly qualified coaches and training/ fixtures take place during the college timetable. Fixtures will be played on Wednesday afternoons which will be blocked out on your timetable. In addition to this, we offer recreational sports for those who don’t want to compete, but still want to stay active.
