A personal tribute 17 Memorial Page & Charity Giving As part of our services to you we will set-up an on-line memorial page for you in memory of your loved one. The memory page creates a unique opportunity for you to record memories of your loved one and share them with friends and family, they in turn can then share their memories with you. The memorial page has a number of additional benefits, all of which are available to you complimentary as our client. • Inform family and friends of the date, time and location of the service, and share via Facebook and other social media if you wish to. • Easy to use maps ensure attendees are directed to the correct service venue. • Upload photos so those visiting the page can share memories. • Visitors to the page can ‘ light a candle’ in remembrance or leave a message for the family. • Family and friends are able to let you know if they are attending the service, helping with catering arrangements. • The page will remain ‘ live’ until you ask for it to be removed and can serve as a permanent memorial to your loved one. You will also be able to see any messages that have been left in their memory and any donations that have been pledged. ● Friends and family can make donations via the page, ensuring that Gift Aid is collected. ● View and acknowledge donations on-line, allowing you to thank people for their contribution If you request donations in memory of your loved one, these will be managed via the online donations portal, which can be accessed from our website. This will allow you and us to view and manage any donations that are donated online, or collected at the service. Any donations pledged are handled and managed by our chosen partner, who will send the donations to your chosen charity(s) (you can chose three) as soon as they are pledged, ensuring that those funds are diligently applied and any Gift Aid is collected. We can also provide you with a donations box if requested,so that donations can be collected at the service and at the reception afterwards, you can then send the donations to your chosen charity(s), we will provide you with a SAE and acknowledgment slip. Please note we are unable to administer any donations given via a donations box and the box will be returned to you on the day of the funeral. Please look out for an email from our partner company ‘funeral guide’ which will allow you to take control of the page.
