School of Landscape Painting - Artsist Development Programme 2020/21

This is for ADP students. It is uninterrupted time for primary research in this powerful and spectacular landscape of St. Davids Peninsula. The theme for the year — Nature and the Studio — will be introduced, including informartion and discussion on working outside and working inside. Individual tutorials will be given throughout the week. There will be opportunity to use the primary material and make pieces in the two expansive studios we have in the gallery for both weeks. Every day at 9.30am there are introductory talks on painting ideas and work- ing processes. Practical sessions and individual tutorials are held throughout the rest of the day. You will be able to work in the stunning landscape and seascapes near to the studio and close to St Davids. The field trip is a great opportunity to begin research, gather material and ideas and meet other students studying the course. Full details of the course will be sent nearer the time.
