Christopher 7
W. BAKER 7
Artist, Painter & Tutor 7
Christopher Baker has wide experience of both North American and European traditions of landscape painting. He has travelled extensively to study and paint, from the High Arctic and Antarctic Peninsula to the landscapes of his own locality, as explored in 64 Days. 7
Drawing on this primary research, he has created large bodies of thematic work exhibited at the Royal Academy, London; Banff Centre for the Arts, Canada; and Pallant House Gallery, Chichester. 7
Christopher has a strong belief in an intimate connection with nature and in the capacity of art, at its best, to express our ability to experience what lies both beyond us and within us. 7
Drawing on this vision and experience, he works with artists through the School of Landscape Painting to help them structure and develop an individual programme of artistic development. 7
