We are fiercely independent, making for a genuinely vendor-agnostic approach to meeting our customers’ requirements. E M P L OY E E H A N D B O O K 15 CORPORATE SOCIAL RESPONSIBILITY Love2Give combines our fundraising and volunteering efforts into one. We’re the only employee network that can get away with throwing a pie at Graeme Watt, and since 2018, we’ve fundraised over £2.4m for causes we care about. If we all used our 16 hours of volunteering time, we’d give back nearly a decade’s worth of time. The committee is open to new members to organise events and influence the activity we do. EMPLOYEE HANDBOOK 17 Our company-wide Allyship programme has increased awareness of how we can all be a great ally to our colleagues. Make sure to book onto the programme via Fuse, our internal Learning platform. DIVERSITY AND INCLUSION We’re passionate about promoting greater diversity in the tech sector and creating a workplace and culture where all of our employees feel a sense of belonging and are empowered to be their authentic selves. From financial planning support to long service awards and technology vouchers, you can choose what’s most important to you. Perklife is our benefits platform and can be accessed from Softcat Central here. PAYROLL And now onto the most important thing - getting paid! Our pay date is the last day of the month, unless that day falls on a Saturday, Sunday or Monday. In which case pay day will be on the preceding Friday. Look out for emails from payroll@softcat.com to confirm payroll and expenses dates throughout the year. LEAVE After all that work (and play!), we all need a hard-earned rest, so please check the Leave policy on People HR to see what you’re entitled to - your birthday day off for starters! When you visit the page, you will also find details on our policies regarding Sick and Compassionate leave as well as what you need to do regarding any Appointments (such as with the doctor, dentist or hospital etc) that you may have. SHARE INCENTIVE PLAN (SIP) This scheme allows you to purchase Softcat shares via your monthly salary, pre-tax. For more information, visit here.
