89 88 As a Rushmoor Councillor in 2020, I was active in trying to understand what was going on locally in the pandemic when somany residents were catching COVID-19, and there was a high death rate, particularly in care homes. With colleagues, I carried out surveys and publicised the results through social media. I could provide details, if required. Also, I submitted written evidence (as attached) and gave oral evidence in August 2020 to the All Party Parliamentary Group on Coronavirus publications.parliament.uk/pa/cm/ cmallparty/211006/coronavirus.htm One of my fellow Councillors, Frank Rust, contracted COVID-19 and died inMarch 2020. Cllr Alex Crawford JP 10 / 03 / 2022 Online survey, 2020/ 2021 During the first lockdown I was baking bread for people in the NHS and some keyworkers as my parents are both working for NHS and keyworkers and it was such a hit that on October 4th I officially opened my own little bakery and its really taken off! Anon, 2021 just frustrating and hardly sleeping Anon, 2021 My father passed away during lockdown, he lived 300 miles away and because he was shielding it meant I couldn’t see him in the last 17 months, I managed to be with him as he passed away and am grateful to have had that time but I do feel cheated of time with my father thanks to COVID Anon, 2021
