From the ferry follow the blue cycleway signs along the western shore to the National Trust’s historic Wray Castle. From here you can reverse the route, making it 8 miles (12.8km) in total, or catch the Bike Boat from Bark Barn Jetty to Brockhole, the Lake District Visitor Centre. Alternatively get the ferry across to the western shore as a foot passenger and walk the trail.
