Walk the Ullswater Way The Ullswater Way is a stunning 20 mile walking route around Ullswater. The route can be walked in either direction and from any starting point. Why not walk the route in shorter sections, using an open top bus or “Steamer” to start your journey! The Eamont Way The Eamont Way is a joint initiative of Friends of the Ullswater Way and Sustainable and Integrated Transport for Ullswater. It’s a continuous, signposted walking route between Penrith and Pooley Bridge that benefits residents and visitors alike. It was made possible with the help of local landowners who provided permissive sections. The Ullswater Way Heritage Trail The Ullswater Way Heritage Trail celebrates the history and heritage of the valley via a series of environmentally-sensitive artistic installations and information points along the route.
