LONDON SUMMER SCHOOL Our flagship summer school in London is held at the world-renowned Guildhall School of Music and Drama, past students of which include Ewan McGregor, Daniel Craig and Orlando Bloom! On top of the exciting content that all of our summer schools provide, the London summer school also offers students the opportunity to see a midweek matinee of a current West End production and even meet some of the cast to ask them questions about the show and the profession. In previous years, we have taken the students to Hairspray, Wicked, Charlie and the Chocolate Factory, The Phantom of the Opera, Les Misérables and many more! After all of this hard work and excitement, the week culminates in the students’ West End performance. This gives all students the chance to become professional performers for the day and fulfil a dream of performing on a West End stage.
HOW STUDENTS BENEFIT Students that take part in our courses and masterclasses not only improve their performance skills but also build their confidence, creativity, communication and language skills. Drama, Music, Singing and Dance also nurtures friendships, assists emotional intelligence and selfexpression and fosters teamwork and cooperation. Life skills which they’ll use every day and forever. We believe in bringing out the very best in all our students, so much so that they surprise themselves with skills they never thought they could possess. Previous theatres used for our West End showcase include Her Majesty Theatre, The Shaftesbury Theatre and The Phoenix Theatre.
