Ensuring the family legacy continues to flourish. 2021 In 2021 Clogau Gold of Wales continue to expand far and wide. 2014 Clogau Gold of Wales Ltd acquire the rights to the Gwynfynydd Mine, located on the Dolgellau Gold Belt. 1999 A number of contributing factors lead to the closure of the Clogau St. David’s Gold Mine. With no other gold mining taking place in Wales today, Clogau becomes one of the rarest golds in the world. 2007 From a team of 3 miners, to an employer of 50 operated from a North Wales oce – Bill’s son, Ben Roberts becomes Managing Director.
