Come along to see horselogging and modern forestry machinery in action including an Alstor 8x8, an Oxtrac and a tractor and trailer winch The UK logging competition will be running throughout the day, with the limbing finale, taking place between 2pm and 3pm in the main arena. Not to be missed! Come and have a go! Tree climbing, archery, axe throwing and various woodland craft workshops will be taking place throughout the day. Visit their stands for more information and to give it a try. Bill Lloyd plays a mean banjo you’ll find him entertaining the crowds on his gypsy bow-top near the bar at 12:00 and 15:00, and at other times too whenever the mood takes him! Ian Douglas is a storyteller with a difference, and he appears to have set-up camp here at the festival! Go along and find him to hear his tales of The Green Knight of Hutton. Housekeeping stuff Toilets are situated at various points around the site. The catering area is located near to the church. Red Cross are also on site just in case. Be aware and keep yourself and others safe when the extraction demos are taking place and give one of our friendly stewards a shout if you need any help. Gates close at 5pm.
