We start with a local departure for our journey south. We take you to London and drop you off at a central point. The rest of the afternoon is free for you to shop or sightsee. You may like to take a ride on the London Eye or perhaps visit Harrods. Or visit Leicester Square where it will be transformed into a winter wonderland with a festive market filled with hand-crafted goods and refreshments. You can wander along the river where there will be wooden cabins selling yuletide gifts and festive foods. At approximately 17.30 hours our coach will pick you up and transfer you to our hotel. We use a selection of hotels in the south of England. All rooms have private facilities, TV and tea / coffee making facilities. Dinner is included tonight. On day 2, after breakfast we take you to Brighton. Don’t miss the extravagant Royal Pavilion or perhaps take a walk through the ‘Lanes’ – packed with shops and restaurants and at this time of year enjoy the magical atmosphere of the Brighton Christmas market and festival including the Apres ski bar for festive drinks. During the mid-afternoon we commence our journey home, arriving back later on. There is a dazzling display of giant lanterns sweeping through the grounds. From colourful dragons and temples to extraordinary re-creations of the nearby Safari Parks residents. It is a skilful spectacle that brings together the ancient art of Chinese lanterns with modern lighting and design on a level of size and intimacy that makes it unique throughout Europe. Our trip starts on day 1 with a local departure. We will take you directly towards Longleat to enjoy the Festival of Light in the early afternoon with free time until the early evening. Afterwards we make our way to the York Hotel, Weston-Super-Mare located opposite the beach and a short walk from the Grand Pier. Rooms are reserved with private facilities and dinner is included tonight. Hotel features include a restaurant and bar. On day 2 we take you to Bath – recognised as one of the most beautiful cities in the world. It offers stunning architecture, great shopping and amazing attractions such as the Royal Crescent, the Circus and Pulteney Bridge. There are many museums and attractions including the Roman Baths. (No admissions included). Return home later on.
