We start with a local departure and take you directly to Bristol. There will be time for shopping or sightseeing. You may wish to visit Brunel’s SS Great Britain – the fully restored waterfront complex or Bristol’s renowned cathedral, (entrance fees not included). Afterwards we make our way to our hotel – the Mercure Bristol North, The Grange Hotel set in a rural location. On day two, after a leisurely breakfast, we depart for the renowned city of Bath with its many historic treasures and monuments, beautiful architecture and superb shopping centre. Winchester – the ancient capital of England, full of mediaeval character and buildings including the famous cathedral – the burial place of Jane Austen. The Winchester Cathedral Christmas markets is set in a unique location next to the cathedral and takes inspiration from the traditional German Christmas markets with traders from all over the UK selling gifts, decorations and festive food. During the late afternoon/early evening we make our way to the Holiday Inn, Fareham for 1 night dinner, bed & breakfast (3 course, 3 choice buffet dinner). All rooms have private facilities and features include a gym and swimming pool with access included during your stay. Southampton Christmas Market – This traditional market features individually designed alpine chalets offering a range of hand-made authentic gifts and decorations as well as a menu of international dishes.
