Attractions include Peasholm Park with its beautiful walks, a lake and an excellent harbour overlooked by the remains of a Mediaeval castle. We start with a local departure by coach for our journey north. Accommodation has been reserved for 4 nights at one of Scarborough’s landmarks – the Grand Hotel – which is located in the town centre overlooking the harbour and South Bay. This was the first hotel in Bournemouth and opened on Queen Victoria’s Coronation day. The classically styled rooms all have private facilities, tea/coffee making facilities.
