Soak up the sights, smells and festive ambience of Bath and the Christmas markets before we continue to our hotel located within coaching distance of Torquay for the night with dinner, bed & breakfast. On day 2 – Depart hotel and travel to charming Exmouth where we board the one way canal cruise to Exeter. Journey along the oldest working ship canal in Europe and enjoy your included homemade mulled wine and warm mince pie. We travel through 2 working lochs and the Countess Wear Swing Bridge. This is a tranquil cruise bursting with history and interest. Afterwards there will be free time to enjoy the Exeter Christmas market by the cathedral before returning home. Join us on this lovely weekend which takes in so much. On day 1 - We travel to historic Norwich. The Mediaeval walled city boasts a huge market place, a wide variety of shops in the cobbled lanes and an art filled Castle. Complete with its cathedral and Mediaeval churches it is a delightful place to wander and explore. From here we make our way to our hotel tucked away in rural Norfolk, the 4* Dunston Hall Hotel, an Elizabethanstyle country retreat dating back to 1859. All rooms have been booked for the night on a dinner, bed and breakfast basis. Features include an indoor swimming pool and spa (some facilities may be chargeable) On day 2 - After a leisurely breakfast, we head to the classic seaside town of Cromer before continuing our journey home arriving back later on.
