Day 1 - We travel north calling in at historic Chester before arriving at the 4* Mercure Haydock Hotel where accommodation is reserved for 4 nights dinner, bed & breakfast in rooms with private facilities. This luxury hotel and spa is set in a Georgian mansion style building near to the famous cities of Liverpool and Manchester. Features include the Otium Leisure Club with indoor heated pool, sauna, gym and steam room (some facilities may be chargeable), Beechers Restaurant and the Conservatory Bistro and lounge bar. A welcome drink and mince pie is included on arrival and dinner is followed by live entertainment featuring music through the decades. Day 2 - Christmas Eve - After breakfast we make a visit to Liverpool – famous for its rich cultural history, iconic waterfront and being the birthplace of the Beatles. Dinner and entertainment this evening – which decade will it be tonight? Day 3 - Christmas Day – Today at leisure to enjoy Christmas Lunch with all the trimmings. There will be carol singing today as well as the Kings Speech at 3pm and a light evening buffet this evening and entertainment “through the decades”. Day 4 - Boxing Day – Catch a breath of sea air at Southport, known for its long sandy beaches, historic pier and Victorian Architecture. Dinner tonight followed by entertainment and dancing. Day 5 - Depart after breakfast for the journey home calling in at Cheshire Oaks – a popular designer outlet mall offering a wide range of luxury brands at discounted prices.
