We start with a local departure by coach for our journey south to Torquay. At Torquay we have 2 nights half board accommodation reserved at the Riviera Hotel set approximately 15 minutes’ walk from the town centre and a few minutes’ walk from the beach. Features include an indoor swimming pool (subject to availability). All rooms are well appointed, and features include a restaurant and bar. There will be entertainment on both nights of your stay. On day 2 – Day at leisure for you to explore Torquay. On day 3 we bid a fond farewell to Torquay and travel to Bath. There will be free time to look around before we commence our journey arriving back later on. Enjoy a break to Somerset staying in Weston Super Mare - set in a sheltered bay at the foot of the Mendip Hills with views across the Bristol Channel to South Wales. There are colourful parks and gardens and a sandy beach. The grand pier was re-opened in 2011 and is described as ‘the ultimate 21st century indoor theme park’. Accommodation is reserved for 2 nights on a dinner, bed and breakfast basis at the popular Anchor Head Hotel. Situated by Birnbeck Pier, close to the boating slipway and beach with spectacular views across the Bristol Channel. The hotel features a restaurant, lounge and bar with dancefloor where there is entertainment most evenings. There is also an outdoor terrace. All rooms are en-suite with tea/coffee making facilities as well as wifi throughout and a lift serving all floors. As well during your stay a free drink is included each evening (*glass of house wine, draught beer, soft drink – no bottles). Day 2 - At leisure in Weston-Super-Mare. Day 3 - Cheddar Gorge and Wells. We travel through spectacular Cheddar Gorge – which has the highest inland cliffs in the country, to England’s smallest city – Wells–with its glorious cathedral.
