The town itself is in a position sheltered by hills and features a sandy beach and a selection of shops, cafes, bars and restaurants. We start with a local departure by coach for crossing to the Continent. Overnight accommodation has been reserved in France tonight. On day 2 we continue our journey south arriving at our hotel – the 3* Hotel Nettuno during the evening. The hotel is an old Harry Shaw favourite and is ideally located in a quiet sunny position overlooking the picturesque west beach and harbour. There is a lively main building and an independent annex which forms a quieter rooming wing. Features include a restaurant, lounge area where frequent entertainment is held and pavement terrace. All rooms have private facilities, TV and tea / coffee making facilities. During your stay we have these great optional excursions available: • Monaco and Monte Carlo. We travel along the dramatic cliff top road to Monte Carlo and the principality of Monaco where there will be time to mingle with the rich and famous.
