With many highlights of this tour, including Constable Country, Lavenham, Heritage coastline, Clacton and a River Dedham cruise, this is bound to prove a popular tour. We start with a local departure for our journey East to the Grade II listed hotel - The Priory Hotel, Bury St Edmunds where accommodation has been reserved for 4 nights on a dinner, bed and breakfast basis in rooms with private facilities. During your stay we have included these great excursions: • Constable Country & the Sunshine Coast – Travel to Dedham where John Constable attended school and houses an exhibition of his life and work. Afternoon in Clacton-on-sea then to Walton on the Naze. • Bury St Edmunds Market, Harry Potter village & Gainsborough – Morning open-air market in Bury St Edmunds. Next stop is Lavenham where the main street was filmed in scenes of Harry Potter. Then on to Sudbury home to Robert Gainsborough. • Suffolk Heritage Coastline & River Dedham Cruise – Coastal drive to Aldeburgh then a river Dedham Cruise with cream tea included and onboard commentary about this special protection area. Enjoy a 5-day Adults Only break at Pontins - set close to Lowestoft at the unspoilt village of Pakefield. A delightful mixture of woodland, inland waterways and rural beaches await you.
