Full day to experience Loch Lomond’s stunning scenery, along with visits to the enchanting wee villages of Balloch, known as the gateway to the Loch Lomond & Trossachs National Park, and Luss which boasts prim rows of chocolate-box cottages, striking hills and incredible views stretching out across the waters of the Loch. • Gretna Green – On our way home, we enjoy a stop at the marriage capital of the world, Gretna Green. In this famous village lies the original spot where young eloping couples would marry “over the anvil” at the blacksmiths shop.
