Our special trip starts with a journey south. Accommodation has been reserved for 3 nights on a dinner, bed and breakfast basis at the popular Queens Hotel. This boasts a prime location, 200 yards from the sea front and town centre. All rooms have private facilities, colour TV and tea / coffee making facilities. There is a bar and restaurant and an indoor heated pool (subject to availability). There will be entertainment each evening as arranged by the hotel in the bar/lounge. During your stay we have included this great excursion: • Today we board the steam train from Paignton along the spectacular English Riviera Geopark coastline, through the picturesque stations at Goodrington and Churston (non-stopping) then on through the wooded slopes of Long Wood bordering the Dart Estuary to Kingswear. A short foot passenger ferry takes you across the river Dart to the historic town of Dartmouth for some free time before returning back by coach to the hotel. Day at leisure for you to explore Paignton. On day 4 we bid Paignton a fond farewell and travel to Bath. There will be time for a brief look around before we recommence our journey home, arriving back later on.
