There is a dazzling display of giant lanterns sweeping through the grounds. From colourful dragons and temples to extraordinary re-creations of the nearby Safari Parks residents. It is a skilful spectacle that brings together the ancient art of Chinese lanterns with modern lighting and design on a level of size and intimacy that makes it unique throughout Europe. Our trip starts on day 1 with a local departure. We will take you directly towards Longleat to enjoy the Festival of Light in the early afternoon with free time until the early evening. Afterwards we make our way to the York Hotel, Weston-Super-Mare located opposite the beach and a short walk from the Grand Pier. Rooms are reserved with private facilities and dinner is included tonight. Hotel features include a restaurant and bar. On day 2 we take you to Bath – recognised as one of the most beautiful cities in the world. It offers stunning architecture, great shopping and amazing attractions such as the Royal Crescent, the Circus and Pulteney Bridge. There are many museums and attractions including the Roman Baths. (No admissions included). Return home later Enjoy two special festive days away on this great tour. We start with a local departure for our journey to Bristol. Nestled in the heart of Bristol City Centre is the wonderful Christmas market, where you will find over 40 festive stalls selling an array of unique gifts, crafts, and seasonal treats. Grab yourself a warming hot chocolate or mulled wine and wander through the market soaking up the holiday atmosphere. Afterwards we join up with our coach and travel to the Mercure Bristol North The Grange Hotel set in a rural location. All rooms are well appointed with private facilities and there is a restaurant and lounge/bar. A 3-course Dinner with tea/coffee is included tonight On day 2 we take you to the Christmas Markets at Gloucester Quays and docks with a fabulous range of festive gifts, locally produced foodie products, delicious street food and pop-up bars. Over 120 traders will showcase the very best craft, gifts and food from the Southwest region for you to experience and enjoy. Return home afterwards arriving back later on.
