To Jason from your McDonald’s family

To Jason Where do I start – what an amazing journey you have been on with the Brand here in the UK over 3 decades. We’ve been through somuch together from very early on in our careers back in the London South days, right the way through to the last 5 years where you have been an outstanding friend, colleague and thought partner – plus a fantastic COO! You can be immensely proud of all you have achieved – not just “what” though, but importantly the “how” – you have left your mark on the culture of the system – changing the way we behave towards our crew, managers, franchisees, suppliers and customers. You care about people and doing the right thing which is so important as a leader. You don’t shy away from the tough decisions and are not afraid to stand up for what is right. You’ve been a great rolemodel for somany – always there to take time out to listen, understand and support. As you know, I amgoing tomiss having you around for many reasons – your humour, your music, your wardrobe choices, the latest diet, fitness routines, socks off socks on, shoes off shoes on, your love of gadgets….. but genuinely I’ll miss having you next door to bounce ideas off and just have a natter on life itself. I know how proud you are of DJ, Nathalia and Maddison and I’mdelighted that we’vemanaged to find the role that allows you to grow professionally, but also allows the four of you to go on a journey as a family. Make sure you keep in touch and you will be amazing in your new role in Atlanta – you’ll bemissed but never forgotten. Huge congrats on the promotion and I know you will create the same positive feeling in your new market as you have done here for many years. Regards Paul
