Discover the excellent beaches and parks with a bustling harbour packed with yachts of all shapes and sizes. As well there are a great range of shops and a unique holiday atmosphere. We start with a local departure by coach for our journey south to Torquay. At Torquay we have 3 nights half board accommodation reserved at the Riviera Hotel set approximately 15 minutes’ walk from the town centre and a few minutes’ walk from the beach. Features include an indoor swimming pool (subject to availability) All rooms are well appointed, and features include a restaurant and bar. Also included a tribute act on one night. During your stay we have included this great excursion: • Today we board the steam train from Paignton along the spectacular English Riviera Geopark coastline, through the picturesque stations at Goodrington and Churston (non-stopping) then on through the wooded slopes of Long Wood bordering the Dart Estuary to Kingswear. A short foot passenger ferry takes you across the river Dart to the historic town of Dartmouth for some free time before returning back by coach to the hotel. There will also be a day at leisure for you to explore Torquay. On day 4 we bid Torquay a fond farewell and travel to Bath. There will be time for a brief look around before we recommence our journey home, arriving back later on. There is super shopping and over 7 miles of beaches. At illuminations time there is an extra ‘buzz’ about the place. The wonderful display stretches some 5 miles along the sea front. We start with a local departure by coach for our journey North. At Blackpool we have 3 nights dinner, bed & breakfast accommodation reserved at the Ruskin Hotel located in central Blackpool and within easy walking distance of the beaches, shops and promenade, with the Winter Gardens just a few minutes’ walk away. All rooms have private bathroom, direct dial telephones, hairdryer and tea / coffee making facilities. Features include free wi-fi, Rubens Restaurant, Rolys Bar and evening entertainment. Lift to all floors. Our coach will drop you off at the hotel on day 1 and pick you up on day 4. During your stay you can make the most of the resort or perhaps catch a tram and travel along the sea front. There are no excursions included.
