We start with a local departure for the journey to Bridlington on the scenic North Yorkshire coast. Here accommodation has been reserved for 3 nights half board festive sparkle theme break at the Monarch Hotel, with a sea front location and only a short walk to the town centre shops, restaurants and bars. The Monarch hotel features a lovely restaurant and bar area on the first floor, both of which enjoy panoramic sea views. All bedrooms are en-suite with tea/ coffee making facilities. During your stay the hotel have arranged a festive programme to include: Friday - Arrive at the hotel to a warm welcome • Enjoy an arrival dinner, with a glass of Mulled Wine • An evening of music, dancing and entertainment. Saturday - Traditional Christmas dinner, with all the trimmings • evening of music, dancing and entertainment. Sunday - Light lunch • Farewell dinner, followed by a party with an optional fancy dress competition and a night of dancing and entertainment. We have also included the following excursions: York & St Nicholas Fayre - In the run up to Christmas there is a vibrant atmosphere within the ancient city walls of York, and the colourful St. Nicholas Fayre centred on the traditional market, is in full swing. Look out for the markets’ culinary delights, Christmas illuminations, craft fairs, carols, music, pavement pantomime etc. York’s famous museums, theatres and churches come alive also with a variety of festivities. Scarborough - Enjoy some free time in Scarborough for those lastminute gifts and to see the outdoor Christmas markets and immersive light installations across the seafront. Expect seaside charm, artisan stalls, and festive performances – offering a coastal twist on traditional Christmas market fare. On day 4 we spend some time in Bridlington before commencing our return journey home, arriving back later on.
